Calendar invitations after a yes

Chalkedin gets the yes; the calendar invitation then comes from you, unless your customer says they don’t need one.

Chalkedin never puts anything in your customer’s diary. Once they accept, their page says you will send a calendar invitation shortly, so the next step is yours: send it from Outlook or Google Calendar as you normally would, knowing it is wanted.

When they don’t need one

Their thank-you page has a No calendar invitation needed button. If they press it, the reply email and the card under Replied say so (no calendar invitation needed), and you can skip it.

When you only have their mobile number

For a link sent by text message alone, their page asks Would you like a calendar invitation? with a box for an email address and a Send me the invitation button. The address comes to you with the reply; it is kept encrypted and cleared with their other details. Under Replied, Copy address copies it.

For an online meeting with no standing joining link, the question becomes where to send the link to join, with Text me the link instead if they would rather.

Putting accepted times in your own calendar

Turn on Share my Chalkedin calendar and every Chalkedin time appears in Outlook, Google or Apple Calendar beside your own. See Show Chalkedin times in your own calendar.
