What your customer is seeing tells you why. Most often the link has expired, been answered, or been broken by a mail filter.

The link is not validThe address arrived damaged, often because a mail filter rewrote it. Ask them to type the short address from the email (Or go to chalkedin.com/r/…), or send it again with View or Copy link.

Company mail filters

Many companies scan links in incoming mail (Safe Links, Mimecast, Proofpoint and the like) and rewrite or test them. Chalkedin is built for this: opening a link never counts as an answer, so a filter that clicks it doesn’t answer for your customer, and the short code in plain text gets around a link that has been mangled.

If one customer’s company always has trouble, try sending the link by text message instead. See Send a link by text message.
