The email you get when someone answers
Every answer is emailed to you straight away. Choose where it goes under Settings › Your details.
Where it goes
To the addresses under Settings › Your details › Where to send responses › Notification addresses. It starts as your sign-in address. To send it to several people, separate the addresses with a semicolon, as in Outlook.
Leave it empty and answers are still recorded under Requests, but nothing is emailed.
Prefer a work address: a copy in a personal mailbox is a second copy of your customer’s details outside your employer’s records.
What it shows
- A badge with the answer (accepted, declined, reschedule or call requested), as on the card under Replied.
- Who it is, the time proposed, and anything they wrote or ticked.
- For a reschedule, a Reschedule button that opens the new link with their details carried over.
The subject line carries the link’s short code rather than your customer’s name, so names don’t show in mail previews and server logs. Email programs that don’t show formatting get a neatly laid-out plain version.
