Show Chalkedin times in your own calendar

A private link you add once to your own calendar, so your Chalkedin times appear beside your other appointments.

Where: Settings › Calendar › Your own calendarOpen in Chalkedin

Turn it on

  1. Open Settings › Calendar.
  2. Under Your own calendar, tick Share my Chalkedin calendar and press Save settings.
  3. Under Your calendar link, press Copy link.
  4. Choose What to share: Only times I’ve offered and am waiting on, or Offered times and accepted times.

Offered times show as tentative, and disappear from your calendar if they are declined, expire or are cancelled. Each entry reads Held · Chalkedin, or Meeting · Chalkedin once accepted, and links back to that day on your Calendar. Nothing about your customer is in it.

Add it to your calendar

  • Outlook: Add calendar, then Subscribe from web, and paste the link.
  • Google Calendar: beside Other calendars press +, then From URL, and paste the link.
  • Apple Calendar: File, then New Calendar Subscription, and paste the link.

Your calendar checks the link now and then and keeps your Chalkedin times up to date. How often is up to your calendar: Outlook and Google Calendar commonly take a few hours, so it shows your week, not the last ten minutes.

What it shares

Only the times you hold for customers. Nothing in your own calendar is read or changed, and your busy and blocked-out times stay in Chalkedin.

Anyone with the link can see the times it lists, so keep it to yourself. If it has gone somewhere it shouldn’t, press Replace link: the old one stops working and you add the new one to your calendar.
