Send your first link (to yourself)
The best way to see what your customers see: make a link with your own name, answer it on your phone and watch the reply arrive.
- Press + New meeting at the top of the page (or the + button in the middle of the bar on a phone).
- Type your own first name under First name. Choose a date a few days away and a start time.
- Press Create link. The page shows Link ready, with a preview of the email.
- Press Copy email, open your own email program, start a new message to yourself and paste. Press Copy subject and paste that into the subject line. Send it.
- Open the email on your phone and press Respond to this time. This is exactly what your customer sees.
- Choose That time suits me and press Send response.
- Within a minute or so, the reply arrives in your inbox, and the link moves from Active to Replied under Requests. It also appears on your Calendar.
Try it a second time and choose That time does not suit, then tick a day or two that would suit instead. You’ll see it come back as a Reschedule on Home, with a button to make the new link. See When they ask for another time.
Tidying up afterwards
Test links are counted like any other. To take one off your lists, press the × at the top right of its card under Replied. See Change, cancel or remove a link.
