Writing to a general address (No name)
For an address such as info@ or sales@, tick No name and every message is worded to read properly without one.
Make a link with no name
- On New meeting, tick No name under First name.
- Fill in the company if you know it. An optional email box appears, so the link has something to go by in your lists.
- Choose the date and time, and press Create link.
The General address template is chosen for you. It asks for the message to be passed to the right person. Anywhere a message would have used the name, the words close up around it: Hi [First name], goes out as Hi there, (or your own greeting).
The greeting word
Under Settings › Sending › Links with no name, the Greeting word is what replaces the name in the greeting. With there it reads Hi there,; with team, Hi team,. Leave it empty and it reads Hi,.
Let them give their name
Under Settings › Privacy, Their name, on a link with no name adds an optional Your first name box to their page. If they fill it in, the reply arrives under that name and heads the card under Replied, and a reschedule greets them by it.
Finding it later
A no-name link is listed under the company, or the email address if you typed one.
