Notifications
News from Chalkedin, your plan, changes to your sign-in and replies to your messages, under your initials.
The number on your initials is how many notifications you haven’t read. Open them from the menu under your initials (on a phone, press your initials at the top of the screen, or More).
What they are about
- What is new in Chalkedin, and fixes.
- Your plan and your beta.
- Changes to your sign-in: your password, your sign-in address, or a passkey added or removed.
- Replies to messages you sent from Help and feedback.
- Messages from the Chalkedin team.
Never anything about your customers: their answers come by email and under Requests.
Reading and tidying
- All and Unread switch between everything and what you haven’t read.
- Mark as read on one, or Mark all as read.
- The × deletes one from your list (with Undo).
An important notification you haven’t read also shows in a band under the menu until you open it. Notifications are kept for a year, then deleted.
News by email
Under Account › News about Chalkedin you can turn off the occasional news email. Emails about your account itself (password resets, the end of the beta, replies to your messages) always come.
